Song' E Napule - Broad Channel

Forced to leave credit card numbers for Thanksgiving AND to agree to a stupid policy of eating fast AND to pay $35 for a taxi ride, we came upon this restaurant shut tight. Why do they make us go through this b.s song and dance (song e napule) for absolutely and positively nothing? You/should be ashamed of yourself!! You were closed! You didn’t tell anyone you were closed. You just pretended that you’d be there for thanksgiving for a 1 hour meal.

This was not my first time at Song E Napule and in fact, I take my friends who are visiting NYC. My last visit was a huge disappointment. The food is good but the service was subpar. I made a reservation for dinner not knowing that upon arrival, I was notified that my friends and I were only given 1 hour to dine. I have never experienced this before. Ambiance: Had loud punshy bass music, not what i was expecting. Pizza: good, ordered caprichoza expecting prosciutto but instead its thin slices of ham (wich its stated on menu). Service: is too quick, ordering and pizza at my table was in 5 minutes, thants amazing. Waiter: insist in calling you “brother” ‍ ️

Sono italiana e questa è stata forse la miglior pizza che abbia mai mangiato, anche tra quelle in Italia! Ingredienti di altissima qualità. I'm Italian and this is probably the best pizza I've ever had, even among the ones I had in Italy! Highest quality ingredients.

I’ve wanted come here since seeing it listed among the top 50 pizza restaurants in the world, and wow, it is a gem! We had two pizzas — one a margherita and one with truffle sauce and prosciutto. Both were excellent. I typically like my crust crispier than they do here but the quality of ingredients more than made up for it. It’s a small place, casual and full of Italian pride.
