Sagara Food City - Broad Channel

This is a nice place for Sri Lankan groceries and Sri Lankan foods. We took it out, Friday Special rice and curry and vegetable fried rice. Had the authentic Sri Lankan tastes on those dishes. Welcoming staff and nice people too.

A few weeks ago I placed an order through an online delivery service. I got a confirmation notification, followed a while later with an update stating the driver was on the way to pick up the order. 30 minutes later I received another notification stating the restaurant had canceled my order because they were closing! What!!?? After already waiting over half an hour! Today I decided I would give them a second chance, I placed an order around 6:15 for 5 items only to receive a call informing me that 4 of the 5 items were not available!! I will not be trying a third time.

They have lot of Sri Lankan groceries too.Very good place shop at.

Sagara food city has some of the best Sri Lankan food at a great price. The food was very flavorful and balanced. The customer service is also very good. We will definitely go there again and order more items off their menu.
