Mighty Quinn's Barbeque - Broad Channel

I would just like to say that the service was not great and we had an issue that I felt needed addressing at a senior level. The owner couldn’t have been nicer and seemed to really care about our experience and wanted to make it right. We really appreciated that response and hope that this kind work ethic can be passed down to their workers to ensure future guests have a better experience than we did. I’m sure it was just a case of the worker having a bad day, and we all know what that feels like, but it was very upsetting at the time. That said, the food was stunning! My husband and I had different meats and sides. Both meats were sooooo tasty, and I haven’t stopped thinking about the beans since we visited. My husband had macaroni cheese and it was the best I’ve ever tasted. I’m looking forward to my next visit likely to be at a different location to try more of what is on offer. Great food. Great owner.

The best BBQ in NYC! Pulled pork and brisket always delicious.

I had Mighty Quinn 's Pulled Pork Sandwich Combo delivered to work a few nights ago and it was pretty great. I included Roasted Sweet Potatoes, which were excellent as always and Burnt End Baked Beans, which had huge chunks of burnt ends in them. I 'm not a huge slaw fan, but their vinegar slaw was perfect for cutting through the richness of the pork. At first, I thought I had been shortchanged on the sandwich as the meat looked like a lot of dark, fatty skin but it was soft, shredded pork, wrapped up in crispy, blackened bark which packed a real flavor punch. The container it came in had a good amount of pork juices, which I doused my sandwich with, along with their amazing BBQ sauce. The Chocolate Fudge Brownie from Greyston Bakery was a nice end to the meal. The only issue was that I struggled to focus on work due to the sleepy-eyed, grinning meat coma stupor that this meal induced in me. Well done, Mighty Quinn!
