Bidrage med feedbackI made a reservation in the backyard at Wayla for a dinner with friends. We were brought to the very back of the courtyard area where we were seated at the far back of the restaurant. Our experience started off great waiter was attentive, food and drinks were delicious, service was fast. As we were eating our entrees, I spotted two large rats running around the backyard. Then, the table next to us found a cockroach on their table and in their food. We immediately felt uncomfortable, but the staff was laughing at our visible discomfort and making jokes out of the situation, as well as entertaining the idea of giving the other table to go boxes and asking our table if we wanted dessert. Myself and the other two tables left the backyard area immediately and we waited inside to pay the bill. Again, none of the staff seemed to care about the discomfort of any of us at those tables, and did nothing to rectify the situation. I understand that when you eat outdoors, you run the risk of critters near your food, but it was the way that the staff handled the situation and belittles us into thinking it was no big deal was beyond disappointing for the caliber of restaurant Wayla claims to be.
An amazing dinner in the outdoor space of Wayla will not be soon forgotten. The food was exceptional and the staff was attentive to our needs. Highly recommend it.
This is a cozy spot that's worth finding if you're in the area. The food is fresh and well-prepared, like the curry with farm-like vegetables and the nicely grilled shrimp. The unique side of purple sticky rice adds a special touch, even though it might be overused in the dessert. The service is friendly and quick, but it can get crowded, so a reservation might be a good idea. Prices are a bit high, and rice isn't free, but overall, it's a solid choice for a casual yet upscale meal.
Some of the best thai I've had in a long time. Chicken wings, Curries , Brussel sprouts are amazing. Service is so good too. Daria was super nice. Definitely coming back.
Overpriced food small portions. Beautiful plates but not much flavor. Truffle spring roll had no truffle taste. The pork meatball was fried outside was hard and dry. The papaya salad was in a tiny bowl. The calamari was missing color, needed to cook a little longer. Thai iced was with oat milk, healthier ok but not the original and taste we are looking for. The basil lemonade just taste like lemonade on ice. Honestly don’t know which one was the best. All ok only..Thai food can be better especially at this price point of apps from $20 to main dishes to 50$ drinks. Atmosphere is beautiful for the indoor and outdoor seating.
