Absolutely fantastic eggplant stuffed falafel on a cozy back patio

Live in Rockaway; went for the first time; Loved it! Gyro outstanding; falafel amazing; but best of all RICE PUDDiNG. Homemade and delicious. I will be back!

Stuffed falafel was supremely delicious!!! Enjoyed lunch on the back patio with our pup and they even brought some chicken for the pooch. Great people and food!!

Kimo’s is the real deal. This hidden Mediterranean gem in rockaway has some of the best falafels in the city. I enjoy the traditional falafel pita with tomatoes, cucumbers and hummus, with tahini and lemon dressing. As a vegan, it’s a must have every time I’m in town. The atmosphere is lovely as well. The family who run the restaurant treat you like a family. And there’s a great backyard patio too. If you like good, authentic Mediterranean food, Kimo’s is well worth the stop.

I’m a bit of a picky eater, but ever since coming to Kimo’s, it’s made me realize how much I’ve been missing out on eating a Mediterranean diet. Me and my mother can’t stop coming here every week for their delicious carrot cakes, baklava’s, peach ginger teas, chicken Adana kebab, etc etc. This family owned restaurant deserves much more recognition over the neighboring businesses
