I highly recommend EK if you're craving homemade food.

I visited this restaurant on a Friday after spontaneously deciding to have dinner at a nearby place. My partner and I ordered the triple chocolate brownie, devil dog pudgie, and smores pudgie. Overall, the food was amazing! The service was very friendly and the atmosphere felt cozy. I highly recommend this place if you are in the East Harlem area.
