Bidrage med feedbackReally enjoyed the food here. Very flavorful and not overly sweet as many other Thai restaurant on Long Island. The food is a bit pricey.
My favorite dish was Tuna ceviche and Lamb zabb. And I ordered Yum Woon Sen that was delicious. And I recommend Steamed Fish (Pla Nueng)Steamed filet Bronzino w/spicy lime juice the super crazy taste !! In the end Mango sticky rice and Creme BrûléeCheesecake was amazing ????
The restaurant is small but cozy. The interior is nice. Food is served quickly, staff is friendly. The food is delicious. But one minus, strong smells, and tables and seats are not cleaned well.
This my favorite Thai restaurant in the US. For some reason, all other Thai restaurants look, feel and taste the same while Bangkok Avenue?s food comes with a level of sophistication and (presumably) authenticity that makes it unique. A must try.
The best Thai food is around Woodside/elmhurst area, no comparisons shout out to Khao Nom) but outside of this area, it's nothing but disappointment and overpricing. That is until you visit Bangkok Avenue, the benchmark for this side of queens. Thepricing is still a little dear but it's well worth your money. The food is absolutely delicious without leaving you feelingheavy, or with an oil-laden mouth. Parking can be a bit tricky since they're on a busy section of northern boulevard, but againit's worth it. They obviously take a lot of pride in the food they deliver and quality control is evident. I found this beautyafter visiting a string of Long Island Thai restaurants which were all terrible : ......so far). I would recommend grabbing abite during lunch special hours, only $12, otherwise the Khao Soi $16) is a must try :D I've been there a few times now take-out) but had devoured the food before I remembered to take photos...it's pretty good! haha xD
