My siblings and I discovered this store “by accident” on the way back to Brooklyn following my sister's burial in New Jersey in 2015. Since then, any time we go to Staten Island, we make sure to stop in to make our special purchases. They are hospitable, generous and such a pleasure to patronize! We make sure to catch up with Ms. Gerry and tease them about being their “Bed-Stuy Cousins.” Prices are reasonable with a wide array of baked goods that are made on the premises. Good bagels. Fairly efficient. You can order online. Pretty decent. There's one guy that takes orders that somehow is slower and makes more mistakes than anyone else but I'll forgive them because everyone else is pretty good.
