The Curious Kitchen - Brixham

I recently visited this restaurant while on holiday in Brixham and it was a delightful surprise. The meal consisted of six vegan courses and the service was friendly. I enjoyed soda bread with oil, a delicious potato salad with deep fried capers, and an asparagus dish. For dessert, I had a brownie and chocolate shake, along with another vegan cake topped with pistachios. To finish, I had green tea that bloomed into a beautiful shape with an orange lily inside. There were limited options for vegans, as the set menu was fixed and the vegan main had to be adapted from a vegetarian option. Despite this, it was a wonderful evening and I left feeling very satisfied.

If you find yourself in Brixham, then this may be the only place to find good vegan options. Recommended (The Curious Kitchen, that is, ...not Brixham..

Always visit when i am in Brixham, lovely vegan food, shakes, cakes and more! And they are opening a second premises a few minutes away. Can't wait!

All the courses we had were excellent. Service was friendly, efficient and helpful. The restaurant was well able to provide delicious gluten free vegan food. It would be great if it became fully vegan.

This cafe has a wonderful interior and atmosphere. We enjoyed the coffee, which was one of the best we've had in the UK. There were plenty of vegan options on the menu, all of which sounded very interesting. I tried the vegan brunch and it was delicious, especially the beans. The flavors were amazing. Although it's on the pricier side, I would definitely consider going back.
