Big music location, acoustics are very good in the main. always a learnable quantity assembled for the good soloists and bands. staff very efficient the most time,interior very pleasant and full of old world charm, not so remarkable when the music is high octane, but this is another story. in the night it was the incomparable chris archalia, who made a solo set without his band mates from archalia. a drink, good business, good gitarrenspiel and a simple atmosphere, not better.

Went for a drink with friends for the first time recently. Atmosphere was good with a good crowd inside. Good beers/ales on tap as well. Area to the left of the bar is a bit of a strange space which could probably do with some work (built in sofas/ rustic tables and chairs). Nonetheless a good solid working country pub.

Great selection of beers and spirts. Good food served by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Well worth a visit.

Honestly, I can't remember having a pub Sunday roast dinner as nice as this one. Everything was just perfect. Cooked just right, good size portions, the choice of veg lovely, and really good cauliflower cheese to go with it. Thanks.
