Bidrage med feedbackThe most delicious and creamy latte. All staff amazing and very friendly. Love the girls!!!! Both of them super friendly and funny!!!
Food was great, coffee was great. The problem was half way through eating a dog and owners came into the cafe the dog had dried faeces hanging from its rear end. This area was moments earlier an area where children were able to play on the floor. The dog was sitting and standing and essentially touching its own pooh on the floor. Either make it child safe OR dog friendly. Can't have it both ways. The second half of the food did not taste the same once this rear view of the dog was obvious. Mmmm maybe a decision needs to be made tbh there are many young parents and children in Easton over a dog or two.
It was great to return here after a few months away from Bristol. The coffee was still of a very high quality; the staff were still as helpful, friendly and funny as before; and the cake and food selections were still excellent. The ambience, as before, is laid-back Scandinavian, though alas the cafe cat isn't such a regular as before. It's also pretty good value for money compared to the coffee chains around and beyond Bristol. (The one downside, which is not the fault at all of No12 or the staff, are those customers who appear to have missed their lessons on being potty trained back in the day. C'mon, certain other customers; make some kind of effort to clean up after yourself before other customers use it...
We fancied this place and went over to Easton. Peeped in the door but saw that every table had exactly one person with a laptop, tablet, or phone, and a coffee cup. Went somewhere else. They lost out on 2 lunch orders. Have seen other places with No laptops notices.
After a frustrating winter I finally returned to Bristol for a (too) short time, and headed to No12 (see previous review). The same friendly, funny and skilled staff were there, and the lattes they made me were as superb as before. And as before, it sometimes gets it to my table somehow before I've sat down, which is extremely welcome on caffeine deficient mornings. There are now two chefs, but the standard of food that comes out of the kitchen remains consistently high a short menu of various sandwiches and warmer meals on sourdough. I've tried them all, they are all good, and I've been educated a bit (I now know the fancypants name for garlic mayo). I also have several new tracks for my summer playlist from the insanely good one that oft plays in there. The cake selection decent portions remains distracting, and the ambience of the cafe is still Nordic: minimalist, white painted wood, and lots of daylight through big windows. This place feels like a kind of home, where I can decompress, eat and drink well, remember how to chill, and think and figure out things. I look forward to returning for (a lot) longer, next time, and hope to see Jasper again. Yes! All hail Jasper!
