Sat inside and ordered hot drinks salad deals- 2 salads samosa 2 salads tofu focaccia. Most of the food options were vegan. The food was all really good and filling. Bought some bamboo socks in the shop. They had lots of vegan products and some refillables. There was a surprising amount of meat in the fridge/freezer section for this kind of a shop. #Veganuary
Great organic veggies, but soooo expensive. All the other products are 25% more than the other health food shops. They claim to be ‘ethical’ but sell dead animals/ dairy, and lots of the products wrapped in plastic. The cafe sells pretty good coffee.
I enjoy visiting this restaurant for a casual look around or a special treat, but the prices are too high to actually shop here. However, the high prices are justified by the fact that all the products are organic and ethically sourced. The deli counter always has a variety of appealing items such as focaccia sandwiches, samosas, vegan cakes, etc. The restaurant also sells fresh bread, frozen, chilled, and pantry items, as well as wine and a small selection of zero waste products. Additionally, you can purchase toiletries here.
The cafe is adorable and offers a wide selection of vegan dishes. However, the prices are quite high for the portion sizes. The cake slices are small and priced at around £4 each. You can find better deals on coffee in central Bristol. The shop offers a variety of vegetables but also serves meat. On the positive side, they are actively engaged in the local community, which is praiseworthy.
