Taigum Tavern - Brisbane

I had a really enjoyable meal at this restaurant with my parents. I ordered the steak sandwich with speck, egg, and cheese, while the others ordered a chicken burger with speck and a chicken dish with Mexican funnel and garlauchbrot. Our meals arrived in a contemporary style in about 20 minutes and were all really delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends. 5/5 stars!

We have been coming to this restaurant for the past 19 years, but were extremely disappointed during our visit for lunch today on 23/09/12. The Sunday roast was not available and when we tried to order grilled fish and chips for three, we were informed that there was only one serving left. This has never happened before during our countless visits over the years. The quality of the food and service has declined, and we will be looking to dine elsewhere in the future as this experience was unacceptable.

Beautiful facilities inside. play and tab is not overwhelming, which is nice to be able to eat a meal without pokie sounds. nice friendly staff! especially nikki in the playable, who took care of the inestimacy each time with good or a coffee. very attentive about native! impressed! and food-yummy!

Myself and a friend went to the Taigum Tavern Tonight and we were denied drinks because of a patron that we did not know broke into the establishment 3 times in a row. and then stole another patrons bike and we did not know this person but it felt like the staff new him. Please go to the homestead this was so disssapointing. The waiter ended up serving us 2 beers and would not give us a Jug for some unknown reason I want answers to this nonsense. I WANT AN INVESTIGATION INTO THIS WE DO NOT NEED AN ESTABLISHMENT OF THIS KIND IN OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD. TAIGUM TAVERN IS NOT WELCOME ANYMORE ITS FULL OF VERY UNTRUSTWORTHY PEOPLE.

I have attended this tavern regularly for most of this year (barring lockdowns of course). The last 3 weeks have been very disappointing as far as the quality of the food goes. I ordered a Caesar Salad with chicken, I received a salad with no anchovies, no croutons, no bacon . I complained and was told it was all there, when clearly, it wasn't. Even the server at the bar said he didn't like the way it looked and sent it back. The next week I ordered a fishermans basket (special) it was ok, with 1 scallop, 3 fish bites and a piece of fish. This week I thought I would order something that couldn't be stuffed up so I ordered the spag bol. It arrived, looked ok, I went to take my first mouthful, it was stone cold, fridge cold. I took it back and received a very disbelieving look from the server. I got my spag bol eventually, warm, BUT I should not have to send food back 2 weeks out of 3 at all. It makes me sad that this happens because it makes for a very unpleasant experience.
