Had to ask for menus, then had to ask for water and then had to ask for table to be wiped. Food was overpriced, small servings and also slow. Would never come here again

We went to the Jade Buddha after not getting served at the Riverbar Kitchen. The difference in the attitude of staff was amazing. Refer our review of the Riverbar Kitchen for our views on their performance. At the Jade Buddha everyone was friendly,...happy and attentive. The food was delicious and the view of the Brisbane River and the Story Bridge was wonderful. Thank you for a great lunch time experience.

We visited Jade Buddha after seeing it from across the road, Great food fabulous service. Hopefully more people will visit to enjoy all that’s on the menu and enjoy the views.

I'm four weeks into a new job and the boss invited me out to dinner with his wife. Where they planned to go hadn't reopened so in the anticipation of Asian meal his wife picked the Jade Buddha. The location is great, fabulous views of...the river, lots of seating all around an island bar. However in July the cafe blinds don't do much to keep the place warm and it was cold. Probably due to Covid restrictions the menu was very small, a dozen or so items of pretty basic pub options. The closest Asian dishes were spring roles, a vermicelli salad something with rice that I can't recall. Saying that though I had a pork belly burger, which came with a large wire basket of skinny fries, which I wasn't expecting a large side of sweet potato fries, which were really good. The food was basic, but tasty not outrageous in price. I suspect in summer when normalcy resumes the menu will be more extensive the place busier warmer. Not really sure if I want to go and find out though.

While adhering to the Covid restrictions, Daniela was amazing and her service was impeccable. She made us feel extremely comfortable and was attentive at all the right times, such a lovely girl, amazing manners and so energetic. The best staff member at Jade Buddha!!!!!!
