Rikyu - Brisbane

In a very cold night in Brisbane we tried Rikyu. Many Uber Eats deliveries were prepared as well as some Takeaway, but at 6:00 we were on our own (until a young family arrived at 7:00). The food was good with the Dashi... part of the Agedashi Tofu very good!! Even my partner wanted to try my Unagi (eel) Don. He also enjoyed the Orion beer (broken in Okinawa). We'll take both and eat. Find it.

We chose this place for Japanese cuisine and it was also authentic. Easy to park, many Japanese diners in Friday night, this is a great sign. As many take orders away. We had medium-sized sashimi, ramen and udon. It was... so satisfied. Simple furnishings, friendly service and tasty.

This deserves ten out of ten honors (I know that I only have 5! . All round good service from the first moment of walking to the restaurant. Absolutely the best Japanese food I tasted. Nice and clean. Try the beef steak, they do it now where else! I swear it's hard to be vegetarian as long as there are places like this. The menu has most of the favorites and you can even get a beer here! Stop it. Chefs are very friendly and say goodbye when leaving the restaurant.

I had lunch tonight and the chicken catsu curry was great. You can go big for $2 extra and it's worth it that costs $10.50. When you add in a soft drink, it comes to $13,50 all in a pretty good value for... in Milton. The staff was also friendly.

Visited for second time for an early dinner. (previous visit was for lunch). In both cases decided on the set menus which were excellent value. I asked for Sashimi with my set and was advised that the tuna was frozen.. however it was still very...good, and nice that they informed you of the fact. Good sized portion of beef in the beef teriyaki. Service was minimalistic but good (ie not intrusive and efficient). Haven't tried the sake yet but the Japanese tap beer is good. Only thing that stopped me from giving a rating of 5 was the frozen tuna.. would have given 4.5 if allowed.
