Madame Rouge - Brisbane

Will I have been complaining about eating? no. was that inspiring again? no. would I complain about the service? no. was the service welcome again? is madame rouge worth his excellent “Kochhut”? will we make a return visit? probably not. overall disappointing.

We had a nice evening at madam rouge. it's very busy, I'd say the booking is a must. the decor is great and the tiffany lamp lighting really creates a cozy atmosphere. the service was a bit cozy, although it was a busy Saturday night and we were not in a hurry. the personal was very nice. eating the portions are very generous, so they are not starving away. I had a sirloin steak that was cooked well, although, if I'm honest, it's probably not the best steak I've ever eaten (but was still delicious.) fries and garden green were great. This is our new, fine eating in brisbane. excellent authentic French eating. the pork chop is wonderful and the steak and the world class enjoys!

Went here for an impromptu early weekday evening dinner before they had a movie in palace cinemas. we were sitting right away and given water and the drinks menu for drinks, we chose two cocktails of the parisienne iced tea (very refreshing and easy to drink), and the epervier (gin and fig.) when we waited for our meals to arrive, we murmured happily for free steaming hot broth rolls with salted butter for desicced, we chose the sows the souffle was a bit of egg-y' but was still bright, fluff and a beautiful goat cheese taste. the tartaric acid was perfectly cured and spiced, with a quail egg center for net, we ordered the special for the night...more

A barman from Gerard’s recommended we try Madame Rouge and we were so very happy we took the advice. The maitre-de was lovely. Very warm and friendly, yet very professional. We were shown to our seats and the waitress was also very friendly. Very personable. When ordering we asked for her opinion and her recommendations were spot on. I had freshly shucked oysters, the duck and the lemon tart with lavender ice cream. All were amazing!!! The waitress even brought out a plate of small handmade chocolates and strawberries as we earlier mentioned it was a celebratory dinner.
