Bidrage med feedbackI'm going to go for big vietnamesen in the valley. was so often here and is perfect for groups. the banquet is very valuable and the owner is a brilliant host that makes it feel like home. if they are looking for a great byo restaurant anywhere, but of course especially in the valley, which offers great value then I can recommend green tea.
I am so sad that I have always loved this restaurant, but never again. they do not serve any escape with net and say it all comes together when they were ordered separately as a free and net, this was a smaller problem compared to the main meal times. I really couldn't eat the red duck curry, sticky, boiled cocosnus cream never had anything worse. the combination sizzle dish was not something we would only see ourselves underwhelming. to be fair, the Thai fish cakes and crabs and maisssuppen were delicious, but only not enough to stop this evaluation.
I'm disappointed to give this review because the food is delicious and I've loved coming here before but unfortunately i will never go back because the customer service is terrible and the manager is arrogant, rude and has no idea how to please a customer. He and his staff completely ruined the whole experience. To give context, i was with a group of 10 old work colleagues having a lovely catch up dinner. To start, our waiters seemed to have no idea what they were doing...but that's ok usually you just work with them and it's not a big deal. I ordered my own separate meal, as did some of the table, and the majority ordered the banquet to share. When each meal came out, one friend asked "is it part of the banquet" when a dish came out. When they replied "yes" or with some sort of mumble, it was put in the middle of the table. By the time everyone was half way through their meal, i still hadn't seen mine so i asked the waiter to check on it. His colleague returns to tell me that my chicken dish had already come up and was served in the middle of the table. I simply asked them to bring me my meal as i hadn't recieved it yet. He then finds the leftovers of the dish on the table, exclaims "there's not much left" and puts it infront of me. I ask for a fresh dish because there's nothing left and again ask about my side dish of bok choy. He tells me this is meal and that's that. When i reply by just asking for the meal i ordered, he goes to speak to the manager and comes back saying that if i want my meal I'll have to pay again for it. I have no idea who might even agree to this. So i go to speak with the manager who has obviously gone and done some push ups in the back in preparation for this conversation. I simply go down and ask for my meal and he proceeds to tell me that if i want it, I'll have to pay again for it and that my table already had my meal. He's proud and tough (!) And not backing down. Eventually my friend joins me because this guy clearly doesn't want me to eat. We get nowhere and he eventually shouts "get out" as us. Anyway, the waiters are incompetent but that's fine, the food is delicious, and the manager is bad!

I have been to this restaurant many times and have always enjoyed the food and the ability to sit outside in China Town. I have some visitors coming and decided it would be nice to take them to this restaurant and rang to book. I asked if I could have a seating outside the front to which the manager replied we don't take reservations. I said three times but I have seen reservation signs so you must on each occasion he advised he could not reserve. I said ok, but after getting of the phone I thought that what you ring for, so I called back to cancel. The manager then got on the phone and advised he is booked out and cant confirm where I can sit ..... maybe he should have told me that instead of we don't take reservations! Then he told me to SHUT UP and listen because he didn't say they don't do reservations they are booked out .... then why did he except my booking in the first place. remember I asked the same question 3 times!!! He continued to be aggressive then said I was Senile and hung up.I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN as he as abused me and when I look at reviews I am not the only one. I now do not recommend this Green Tree
