Bidrage med feedbackI was looking for some veg restaurants and decided to visit this one. Though there aren't much varieties, the taste is good. Kofta was the best pick from the menu. The veg curry was a bit bland for me. Ambience is just okay. They close down by 8 pm which is not so great! On the whole, it is a decent restaurant that you can try once in a while.
Came with the family twice and is one of our favourite choices! The Spinach Pie and the Noodles is what we usually aim for but their vegetarian lasagna was
The flavoursome and filling food from Gopal's would be enough to covert my meat- loving husband to vegetarianism, should I ever bring him here.
I love this little place! I try to make time to stop in there when I head out to the movies at Graceville or Indooroopilly as it is totally worth that bit of extra effort. I have to admit to only ever having had their Indian Feast for $13 which gives you rice, curry, salad, kofta balls, papadum, choice of drink (normally a lassi or a mint-ginger-lemon concoction and a choice of dessert (halva or berry crumble, both with optional custard). There are lots of other options if you don't want the feast. There are curries, lasagna, filo parcels, and kofta balls all in the hot case and you can order from a number of other things from the blackboard menu. It's a very friendly and welcoming place but very small and with the limited number of hours they are open you may need to plan a little ahead to make sure you don't arrive after they close of an evening. They seem to do more takeaway than dine-ins but I often find myself sharing the restaurant with families, couples and singles.
