We have been to Boucher Bistro many times; only on special occasions, birthdays and anniversaries. The food authentic French cuisine and the staff are generally very good. Brought my wife there for her birthday. Steak tartare, excellent and Beetroot and salmon, delicious. Wonderful same standard and enjoyment as past visits. As always we had the signature dish bouillabaisse, known for its unique vibrant taste. Waitress asked us if we would like bread. Yes please , they never asked before. Unfortunately the bouillabaisse, was a tasteless disappointment with a flour like powder floating on top. This is not Boucher standard and quickly devalued our special night out. We will never come back. Not because the bouillabaisse was off, but because we were charged $4.00 for two measly pieces of bread. Look at the price of the meals and the wine. Expensive. This is an insult.
