Bidrage med feedbackThe buffet was excellent! A wide variety of food, eggs made to order, fresh pastries, espresso coffee and you can even make your own waffles. The chefs behind the display counter were Proffessional and courteous. I have given 4 stars because of the decor. Who thought of decorating the walls with the hideous wall paper? The room looks cheap and unwelcome. You also need to replace table and chairs with something more modern. Once you do that, I can gladly give you 5 stars. And one more thing: change the name from The Eatery to something more contemporary that doesn’t sound like the old and tired cafeteria.
Purchased a platter for 2 ,just for a quiet drink and nibble on a Saturday night , but the platter arrived and it was huge ,just for 2 people , the choice on the platter where plenty from salmon to chicken wings , sadly the platter won , our waiter for the evening was Martin who was so helpfull in educating us with the platter's choices , thanks to you guys , sorry for leaving to much behind will try and get back another time
My partner and I recently at at the Eatery at Four Points. We dined using a Groupon. The Groupon sold the dinner as a Meat, Seafood and Land grazing board experience with beer or wine for two people (total value up to $125) The staff were lovely. The food looked great and there was so much we could only eat half of it. But for us the food was not very tasty, my partner described it as a bit bland. The ambience was quite sterile. We wouldn't go back here.
Well, welcomed by reception....escorted to the lift....up to the 30th floor. Ready for high tea well... they were very obliging at changing the table configurations. I don't do high chairs next to the window on the 30th floor. The room was so unhighteaish, which is definitely not a word. A very clinical, modern room not what you usually are expecting for a high tea. The view was very disappointing as there was no studmuffin changing in the view of the building next door. The seating was not overly comfortable either...even after being altered for us. Started with a glass of bubbles which was nice ..not too sweet or dry. It went well with the 3 savory items on the hightea rack which looked very impressive. The roast beef item was especially nice, the other 2 were ok. We opted to have our tea/coffee later with the 4 sweet items and scones. Scones may have been yesterday's otherwise I would recommend they work on their kneeding technique or less of it. Tea came in a pot and hot .... tick, tick but they never came and asked if we wanted a refill....Three out of 4 of the sweet items were delicious especially the opera cake. All in all one of the better high teas I have had but I am still looking for the 1.
Our table was reserved due to being a booking but it jdid get very busy at about 8.30. Great choices and well replenished. Coffee from machine was very nice. Staff were busy but managed to clkear down the table quite quickly.
