Bidrage med feedbackI went here yesterday for dinner with a colleague. It had good reviews and I felt like eating some nice Pizza so I thought I'd check it out. We ordered the Duck Pate for starters and it was fantastic. It came with really nice toasted bread dripping with hot butter and herbs. That was followed by the "Pizzetta" (Pizza served on a wooden board). I had the Prawn and Chilli pizza which was really nice. What made it really unique for me was the really high quality, sweet tomato base which I hadn't tasted like that before. The finale was the chocolate mousse dessert. It was mixed in with all sorts of crunchy toppings including chocolate sprinkles and goodness knows what else. All I know is that it was so awesome I wanted more! Highly recommended and a great venue in the CBD.
Truffle. Pizza. Two of my favourite things.* A lunchtime fact-finding mission proved the tales of Coppa combining my favs were 100% TRUMOUR! Enter 'mushroom truffle egg' bianco pizzetta. After the initial sheer excitement, I then strapped in for a rollercoaster experience as follows: ▪️wafting truffle aroma ✔️ ▪️heaped up shrooms ✔️ ▪️sliding topping due to soggy crust in the middle meaning I had to knife & fork my pizza like a loser. My dining partner-in-crime was similarly underwhelmed by her 'tomato bocconcini basil' pizzetta. Too much drizzled oil on both - it still coats my mouth as I type✖️ ▪️removing a few slices revealed the state of the serving board underneath which made me squirm ✖️ ▪️acceptable service ✔️ Moral of the story: mere combination of fav things does not a winner make. Friends rave about this place & Zomato reviewers also rate it highly so I really wanted to love it. Maybe I'll return for dinner service sometime to give it another chance. Maybe... *after Husbandio & Cino

I have been here twice. Both times the service was fantastic, attentive but not intrusive. Food was even better than I remembered. We ordered the gnocchi main special, which just melted in your mouth and the butter sauce was flavoursome without being too rich. We also ordered the duck pappardelle and I honestly can't flaw it. Looking forward to coming back.
I have lost count of the number of times I've walked past Coppa Spuntino and reminded myself that I simply had to go there sometime. There's something about it that just appeals so much to me. I love the placement of this little Italian wine bar - the location on Creek St is easy find and it has the added benefit of proximity to Gresham Lane and Eagle St. The interior is neat and simple, with a sit-up bar and a gorgeous black and white tiled wood-fired oven. There's also a beautiful little outdoor area where patrons can relax under the big umbrellas and watch the world go by. Coppa's menu focuses on modern Italian food that's designed for sharing, European cocktails, and fabulous Italian wine. I also hear that the breakfast and coffee are divine! The service is friendly, informal but professional, and wonderfully helpful. My friend and I indulged in a cheese plate of Tarago River Gorgonzola, Taleggio, and Lingot Brie with fig jam (delicious!) and walnuts, paired with a bottle of La Villa Pinot Grigio. As I didn't really get to dine here properly I'm going to save my full review for another day, but I absolutely love the relaxed atmosphere and will definitely be returning soon....probably to try the coffee and the gnocchi ????
