Bidrage med feedbackI absolutely love Bamboo Basket. It’s a very chilled, good authentic atmosphere. Staff are lovely and efficient. Most importantly the flavours of the dishes are divine, each tasting different to the next. The sticky rice chicken dumplings were one of my favourites, also the BBQ pork pancake is also a winner. If you can’t finish your meal you can ask for the rest to be takeaway which is great. I feel like they could have a bit more variety on their drinks menu by adding some cocktails etc. Other then that I would happily dine here anytime.
Nice restaurant at Portside. I had sweet and sour pork which was exceptional. My partner had the black bean beef which was not hot and a bit below standard, particularly with the rather high prices. We sat outside and the setting was nice. The service was excellent.
Attended a Road Show at Portside Hamilton and it was about 7:30pm when I stepped out. Felt very hungry and rushed to this Chinese restaurant opposite to the venue of Road Show. Honestly, it had been quite a while since I dined in her sibling at Southbank. Needless to say, there would be a big window to show off how the chef making the buns, dumplings and the noodles and the deco is set-up in contemporary Chinese style. Service is brilliant and the foods are consistently as good as her sibling. Hero of the day should be the Boiled Fish Fillet with Sichuan Pepper in Spice Broth. Although the fish was not freshly filleted from lived fish, those frozen fish fillet still deliver the original sweet taste. Beside of the fish, Prawn in Singapore Style with suggestion of steamed flour buns was a good job as well. Sauce of Singapore style is exactly the same when I had Crab in Singapore Style early this year in Singapore, particularly when you put the bun to soak with the sauce....... it makes me so satisfied! Highly recommended.
Not bad, not bad. We went to Bamboo basket at Portside this morning, the food was quite nice and very reasonable. We choose food from the dim sim menu, yum Cha style. They don't do Yum Cha the traditional way with trolleys, instead you just pick things off the menu. They also don't do custard tarts, but other than that the food is pretty good.
Food is tasty and fresh and the servings are generous I shared the seafood fried rice with a friend and we still couldn't finish. Dumplings and deep fried squid were also really good!
