Friends invited me for lunch to try this small restaurant tucked away east of Boynton Beach City Hall with its own parking lot out front on the southside of Boynton Beach Boulevard . Run by two separate chefs the menus migrate between the chefs signature dishes. The day 's rain did not allow us to consider the outdoor tables under bright umbrellas. Indoors there are tables for 2 to 4 seats for 28 diners. Small and personal. The menu on a clipboard greeted us at our places. Short but interesting choices. Soup of the day was chicken with arugula and sausage -had to try that. There were three salads and five sandwiches. Vegans rejoice there were choices. I was attracted to the Shrimp with avocado and bacon on fresh croissant. That caught my eye over the chicken pesto in a baguette. Each came with a side. I chose the very tasty and surprising green beans and grape tomatoes with balsamic vinegar dressing. The others opted for their favorite of a cold chunky red potato salad with a creamy dressing I got a spoonful and liked it but the potato glycemic load distracted me back to my green beans! My croissant came stuffed with large shrimps lightly sauced with seasoning, avocado and bacon., The croissant was crunchy fresh and made a great lunch. I ate every green bean with its unique smoky and signature dressing. I also sampled the chicken pesto sandwich chosen on a croissant by the other diner. It was too large to open my mouth to bite , so a slice was handed across to enjoy. The blended ingredients were rich and original. I sought the fresh brewed ice tea which was dark and accompanied my lunch well. No desert was needed or ordered. As this café is offered by a non profit agency for care of elders in Boynton Beach the price carries some contribution to the works of Community Caring Center of Palm Beach. Our lunches cost less than $15 each with each at our table satisfied with the well presented food
Great little hidden gem. The menu is limited but I'd rather have fewer options of really good food than lots of options for just ok food.
The best vegan food in South Florida. Every Thursday early afternoon there is a vegan buffet that will knock your socks off. It's also the best deal I have ever seen at 7 dollars a pound for amazing flavorful dishes that change about every week. You have to check it out.
This RAW Vegan Lasagna was very tasty. The Chef was so inspired. The owner took care of my every need. Looking for RAW Vegan food then you found a spot. Not a high class place but the food compares. Aloha Grace!
