The West Quay - Brighton and Hove

For some reason I thought that a Wetherspoon at this location must be awesome. So I was a little bit dissapointed. Looks good from the outside, but not so much on the inside. Very crowded too, busy and loud noise. I love Wetherspoon usually, but still this one is just nice enough, nothing more. Actually is the best of the 3 Wetherspoons in Brighton, so Wetherspoons and Brighton don't mix well.

DONT EAT HERE! Terrible terrible terrible staff bad, food bad only thing going for it is the location! Avoid avoid avoid

Staff always work hard to overcome being short of help, I guess it’s company policy to cut costs, we’ve always loved this one anyway. Great location. Nice people.

So sad how this pub has gone down hill...visited yesterday tables, chairs and floor absolutely filthy...did not order food as it looked greasy and dire...ordered a glass of wine at 3.30pm to be told there were no wine glasses! Not even the lunchtime rush! Tables not cleared seagulls crashing cutlery to the floor no staff came out...sadly neglected and unloved...money could be well spent somewhere else

Nick was brilliant. Always aware of customers, very polite. He never stopped. We felt sorry for him as he had no help but he never complained. Staff like that are gold dust to any business. He certainly made our visit enjoyable. Great venue great food.
