The Codfather - Brighton and Hove

The food at Codfather was fantastic, and the delivery was very fast. I would definitely recommend and will be ordering from them again. We had one order of cod and chips, one order of salt and pepper prawns, and a quarter Peking duck.

The fries were scorched but still okay to eat. The food was too expensive and very oily. However, I really enjoyed the rice, it was the highlight of my meal. I will not be returning to this restaurant. On the bright side, the delivery service was good. I placed my order at 6:15pm and it arrived promptly at 7:15pm as promised by the app.

I recently visited this restaurant and was disappointed to find that cleanliness was not a priority. There were old bowls of batter left out in the public area and what appeared to be dirty dismantled bike parts scattered around. I used to frequent this place when I lived in the area, so I decided to drop in for a tasty treat, but it seems that the old owners have moved on. I ordered food to go, brought it home, unwrapped it, and ended up throwing it in the bin because it was greasy and smelled like dirty oil.

Order tea for 7pm as was on duty. it came at 6. not happy as had to take it. fish was soggy chips over cooked and my Thai curry was so spicy I could not eat it. I normally love Thai curry but not this one. ended up leaving it. the beef curry was also far to hot. we are use to eating spicy food but this was awful. wasted £26. never again

The food was cold the batter was hard and very crispy on the sausages the chips were also very crispy wasn’t impressed waste of money!
