Li's Sizzling House - Brighton and Hove

Had a takeaway from li’s on Friday 13th November. The food arrived within an hour and was nice and hot . We had a mixture of pancake rolls , Kung po prawns, beef in black been sauce , chilli squid and rice . The squid was nice and crispy not at all rubbery like I’ve had from other Chinese takeaways which is a good sign . This is the first time we have use this takeaway and on first experience we will us again and recommend.

We were a little sceptical ordering this evening given a few recent reviews. However myself, partner son could not fault this meal tonight. Quick friendly delivery, food arrived hot, great prices one if the best Chinese takeaways we have had in a long time. Will be back soon.

Now only a takeaway this place is going down hill again. No facilities to take a card. Poor food and not being able to sit in and eat has put Li's on the slippery downhill slope that it once rose like a phoenix and conquered. Not sure if it's changed hands and I did notice new faces so perhaps it has I wouldn't go here again. Spent £33 on various bits and can't recommend anything. Such a shame.

Waited an hour and a half for some rice nd prawns which eventually arrived cold!! To add to the poor service, there was no sweet/sour sauce which was supposed to be included. Also I was charged for delivery even though I live well within the 3mile radius as per the menu which I picked up from them earlier today. Dreadful service of cold, mediocre food and I will not be using Li’s Sizzling House again. Sizzling it definitely 8s NOT!!! I wouldn’t give it one star.

Very good quality food, arrived hot at my home within the time specified. Will continue to get food from here.
