Good Friends - Brighton and Hove

Came here with friends. Very tasty Chinese food. Clean and get food quickly as they don't have much people in there at that time. Will be back.

We stumbled on this place by accident, as many other places still seemed closed. But what a slice of luck. We had the 18.50 set meal and it was superb. Quality food, top class service and more than enough we were stuffed. One of...best Chinese meals we've ever had and we have had a few. Highly recommend it.

I wanted to find a walk where to eat. preston street, brighton has a lot of restaurants / places to eat. on a Sunday a table went in the evening. fantastic hot meals, very fast service and so friendly waitress. it was so good that we came back. there was on Monday evening, but again great eating, a great service. absolutely.

We stumbled upon this place by accident and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered three side dishes with noodles that were all delicious. The preserved eggshell was particularly interesting. The food seemed authentic and the menu had a great selection to choose from. It was also very affordable. The restaurant is fairly large, but the bright lighting and lack of atmosphere made it feel a bit empty with only two other diners. Overall, we probably wouldn't return, but I would recommend it to anyone looking for authentic food.

Good friends offer the most authentic and extensive selection of traditional Cantonese cooking, which I found everywhere in the south-east. this kind of authentic eating is also hard to find in londons chinatown, which today is mostly for tourist.
