Mock Turtle - Brighton

DELIGHTFUL! I came for the scone cream tea and was recommended this place by a hotel down the road. I actually was there in May of 2017. This is a traditional yet classic British tea cafe with lots of lovely pastries and yummy food dishes. You won't know which pastry to choose because there is a good variety. The Mock Turtle is a real Brighton Treasure!

My favourite tea room in Brighton gloriously old fashioned they certainly know how to serve up a decent pot of tea .Cakes may not be of the freshest but we go for the experience

Toilet is dirty, cobwebs on lights above cakes. Rock cake was hard and dry and stale sent it back . Pot of tea for 2 was £6.50 rip off place well past it’s sell by date

Great old fashioned tea room with a great menu and amazing looking cakes. Staff were pleasant and service was good. Hope it extends its opening hours when the summer season is here.

We were a party of eight and sat downstairs. The decor was tired and scruffy. The menu was wide ranging but nothing special. The access to the toilet was very difficult. The toilet however, was disgusting!! The waitress was pleasant.
