Before I share MY experience, I want to address some of the poor reviews * I've read on Snappys.. *Of course there are flies; it's Delaware farm country, between March and November Large portions with little taste'... too bad the AMPLE portion was void of flavor. Salt and pepper are on the table, and they'll bring you anything else you might want, from ketchup to red pepper flakes. Take home the extra food that you couldn't eat and make it to your liking tomorrow morning Dripping AC vents Yep. It's humid and the air works. Yes, they could maybe replace the ceiling tiles. But it's comfortable.Now, regarding MY meal... I came in for breakfast on a Thursday around 9 am. Corned beef hash, eggs, home fries (crispy) and toast. Coffee and water.Waitress was pleasant, capable and prompt with the coffee refills. Took about 20 minutes for the cooked-to-order food; nothing tasted like it had been precooked EXCEPT, perhaps, the hash. It was a little dry and very mushy. Still had a good flavor, though!Nice, if crowded, atmosphere. Several families with small children, a couple groups of older folks, and a few solo diners like myself were enjoying the morning...I highly recommend Snappys for breakfast, and look forward to coming in for a lunch sandwich. Only open until 2 pm, so plan accordingly!
