Bidrage med feedbackMy wife and I were looking for a place to eat the first night of our honeymoon. Around Holetown, a strange new place in our first experience in a foreign country, we met a friendly man who, when we said, we were looking for an authentic Bajan cuisine, recommended Ragamuffins to us, just to discuss that he was the owner of the restaurant! Well, his recommendation didn't fall flat as we had as good as a meal (if not better) than we at the famous Tides restaurant down on the street a few nights later. Anyway, if you are near Holetown looking for freshly caught Bajan fish, do not see further this place is for real.
Nice casual food. Doesn't have the need to dress up. We really enjoyed the meal. Rumstick was good. We went a little early so it wasn't crowded. It is definitely worth a meal. We parked on the LimeGrove.
The food is real and right. Go around the corner and swim in the beach .. there is a reason why he here is more than 20 years. Large staff
We liked this place. Good honest restaurant with , for the area, reasonable prices, a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. No pretentiousness, good tasty dishes.
I had the blackened shrimp for starter and jerk chicken for main course, my partner had the fish cakes and blackened fish. She was less pleased with her portion size and taste than I was with my choice, as the jerk chicken was very tasty. The main issues we had was the outdated presentation and ridiculous prices that accompanied it, for a place that looks very much like a locals restaurant it's prices outmatched that of an up class London gastropub, very sorry to say that we won't be returning as I'd like to have some money left in my account by the end of the holiday. As a side note it's worth saying that the waitress was very helpful and polite, no issues there.
