Le Surf - Bretignolles-sur-Mer

Very fresh and beautiful food. We went with a big group, everyone enjoyed it. Great generous deserts. Not very nice, I would call it authentic. Locals also love to eat here. The staff hardly speaks English, only French, but with their charm and kindness, communication... was no problem. You can sit outside or inside. There is a huge parking lot nearby. The dog was welcome.

We had a summer dinner that Moule fries up for all four of us. I couldn't finish it, so I had to help. It was not a choir: I especially enjoyed the Moules au creme de Roquefort. Attention.

Visited late Saturday evening. Hosts were charming and did there best to accommodate us. Food was tasty and reasonably priced service was adequate, being picky it might have been quicker. We will definitely go back however.

We often have lunch here and eat off the menu of the day which is always great value. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Their main menu looks good.

This is what I was say is a good middle of the road restaurant, nice choice of food, not just the normal salad and crepes that you sometime get from coastal restaurants, nice ambiance, not necessarily suited if you have young children that have a...tendency to escape from the table as its near to the road.
