Trattoria La Pergola - BRENDOLA

I was with 4 colleagues on business trip in Montecchio Maggiore. We are not Italian. In the evening we searched on google for best restaurants nearby and we've chosen La Pergola. I must say the good reviews are nit unfounded. Even though we arrived before opening hours the staff let us in. The cheff speaks good english. We had four course dinner for 5 people, which was ecelent. The restaurant offers great local foods, homemade pasta, great sellection of meats prepared on fire, great sellection of local itallian vines. Greatly recommended, will surely return! A level!

We had a really nice dinner here. It was recomended to us and we are glad we were told to go here and have dinner. We sat outside and had a talk about what we wanted to eat. We started with the risotto with shrimp and lime and it was really nice, delicious. Our mail was seabram and we had the smallest they had 1,2 kg. It was grilled and served with very nice vegerables, spinach and ratatouillie and ovenbaked potates. We had a really nice bottle of white wine and for dessert we had to try their semifreddo. It was very nice as all the rest. We really enjoyed our dinner and paying the bill is also in the more expensive end of the range aof our melas on this trip, but well worth it.

Not quite top drawer, but better than average. The menu was purely in Italian which is not an unreasonable thing in Italy. Sadly because neither I nor the staff could translate some of the unfamiliar terms I ended up with a meal I did not enjoy. The word fish actually meant octopus, squid and a white fleshed fish. My tiramisu wasn’t the best I’ve ever had either but was ok. Just felt slightly disappointed by the whole meal.

Plats excepcionals amb una qualitat de productes simplement excel·lent. El servei molt atent i servicial. Molt recomanable.
