Bidrage med feedbackThis is a seriously long overdue review and unfortunately, it looks like Poultrygram has since closed down, but I would be remiss if I didn't share how great this pop-up was when it was open. The fried chicken sandwiches were enormous and they served hearty potato wedge fries with plenty of seasoning. The customer service was outstanding. Hope they bring it back someday!
Literally the least enjoyable process to order food I have ever been thru. Let's start with the location being located inside of another restaurant with no signage or description. After driving around a few times trying to find it I parked at the structure near by. I did not park close to the restaurant. After walking around for a fair bit and making several unsuccessful phone calls to the establishment I luckily enough looked up at the scrolling marquee at the right moment. You would think the message after the unsuccessful calls would guide me in right direction but that message is outdated and sends you to an uniformed but very nice attendant at the improv. He will kindly ask you to wait in line to speak with the host. This is a 20 minute wait I came to find out. After finally cutting the second half of the line to ask some questions a very nice but very busy server tells me I have to order online. He lowers his head and says I'm sorry the internet is also terrible. I implore him to take my order but to no avail. I end up calling my wife who I was trying to surprise with dinner to order for us as the service is so bad I couldn't even open the menu. As I wait for her to confirm the order the manager approaches me wondering why I'm standing around his business. I tell him my story and he begins telling me what I can do to order food overlooking the only important fact that my wife is already ordering. Masks do not help the situation. He was very nice and even went to the back to check on my order. I haven't eaten the food yet and will update my review. Order delivery. Coming here can't be worth this. This is not a rip on the manager or the staff but the ownership who does not empower their team to succeed under such difficult circumstances. The manager had no choice to come out without my food after a 10 minute mission to the kitchen. The line for the infamous host table was wrapping around the restaurant. I truly hope my food comes out soon but he hasn't addressed me or looked me in the eye since his return so my hopes are diminishing. This gets better and better it is now 5 minutes past the time when the food should be ready and I was told that my food should be ready in 15 to 25 minutes. I swear I'm wildly patient and usually stoned so I'm not one to complain unless the experience is absolutely egregious.
Alright, I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich delivered today and it was actually perfect. It was obviously a bit cold from the drive when it arrived, but I popped that bitty in the microwave for 20 seconds and I was transported back in time to the moment when the chicken chef kissed the wrapper-swaddled sandwich before putting in the to-go bag.
Got this delivered last night and I was very disappointed. Saw the reviews and was excited but I won't be going back. The breading was falling off the chicken, the chicken tenders were so thin that the breading had a gap in between them, the flavors weren't there, they were super oily, ranch was the only flavor I got from everything and even that was watered down, and the coleslaw had no flavor either. I drove here once but couldn't find the location so I did a delivery and even tho it's not far from me, the quality of the breading shouldn't have been the way i got it.
With as many places now serving Nashville hot chicken in OC, this place definitely isn 't up to par. The flavor of the Nashville hot sandwich was mediocre and the bun was burned pretty bad. The huge tenders are about 70% batter and 30% chicken and sadly the breading doesn 't want to stick to the chicken at all. Fries were just ok and overly salty. Service was good. I probably wouldn 't make an effort to go back based on my first experience and after reading other reviews, it seems most have the same experience.
