Bidrage med feedbackThe standout feature of this establishment is its extensive menu, offering something for every palate. However, aside from that, I found the overall experience to be fairly average.
The food is okay, but of good quality. The service is slow, as our last breakfast order took over 30 minutes to arrive.
I have heard good things about Sherwood, so a group of six of us decided to give them a try.
When we arrived the young girl who seated us was very friendly and helpful. Our waitress was horrible. She gave us our menus and came back four times in five minutes to see if we wanted to order yet. This didn't give us time to read the menu. She kept coming up and chatting with us while we were trying to eat. My niece had to clear the plates because she disappeared when she said she would be right back to take them away. She took forever to get my bill ready as there were mistakes and she seemed very confused about what she was doing. The food was not good. The little ones had the buffet and everything had obviously been out there a long time because some of it was hard. The gravy was horrible and my mother's fish was greasy. Just an all around be bad experience.
Unfortunately I don't have much good to say here. On the positive we have been here before and thought about coming back to try their New Years Day Buffet. What a mistake! They ran out food on multiple occasions, there was never anyone out there to carve the beef, so I did it myself, and the salads were so overdressed they were mushy. The food, when out there was okay, but not great. Eggs benny was over cooked, veggies was VERY overcooked and other than the roast the only option to consider it a lunch rather than breakfast was chicken wings. My wife and kids dont want either of those items. So it became an expensive breakfast for them. Oh and the service, my wife got the most filthy look when she asked for a refill of tea. So we just paid and left. Can't say we will be back.
