Gran Sasso Restaurant - Brantford

I used to think this was just a small pizza place catering to the nearby high school. I was mistaken. I visited with my brother and we both had a great experience with delicious food. The owners were friendly and chatted with us before and after our meal. The food was fantastic, and they also had a good selection of wine and Italian beer. I can't wait to go back!

Found this little restaurant with a google search, and were we ever glad we did! Fantastic food, generous portions, & friendly service. You'll want to make reservations if you're planning on going for dinner as the restaurant is smaller and fills up quickly

Our only regret is that we hadn't tried Gran Sasso sooner! Outstanding meal and outstanding service tonight. The authentic appetizer salads, pizza and pasta dishes were all, in a word, perfect. Highly recommended. We plan to return soon ... like next week.

Caesar salad, beef tenderloin with grilled veggies and grilled pepper and potato, very good as usual. Family run restaurant, friendly and accommodating.

Based on the reviews, we chose to give this restaurant a try. We were blown away by the exceptional food - the portions were good, very authentic, and full of flavor. The staff were very friendly and, as I already mentioned, the food was fantastic. We will definitely return to sample more of their dishes.
