Sweets On Main - Branford

Sarah and Donna are a remarkable team. From a day of planning they really heard our vision and brought them to life. Everything was discussed by email, but they made us feel like we were their only customers. We had a couples shower at a local brewery and ordered 6 mixed/matched cupcakes and a single-stage naked cake. They matched our color scheme and flavored our an animal cake with our favorite thing. Espresso. We had expected big things, but we were blown away with our dessert table. They even offered to add our fresh flowers to the cake at the delivery that pulled everything together. We had heard of candy on main from other fresh weeds and we are so happy that we with them as our something sweet and tasty! We went with a naked 3 animal cake with the raspberry compote, it was easy to refresh and perfect way to feel light with something sweet and spend the rest of the night on the dance floor! Our venue was lawn club in new port, and the cake delivery was seamless. Scheduling the tasting and being there was an enchanting date for us, and when we tried the combination for the delicious cake, they helped us to make our vision true! Sweets on Main has worked with our florist Agnew florist.

I have no words about how incredible Sarah and her team are at Sweets am Main. They made the cake for my bridal shower in July (2021) and it was so nice that we used it last weekend for our wedding (09/26/2021). Not only did she make 2 beautiful cakes for us, but she took our family recipe and made Buckeyes, who was such a special and personal touch for our wedding that our guests and family loved so much. They were so good that people put the desserts in and we ran out so fast! I can't thank them enough that everything was delicious!!

I had ordered the chocolate overload cake, which is by far the most decadent chocolate cake I've ever had. My mother loved it absolutely for her birthday! Thank you to Sarah Donna for doing such a fabulous job!

100% best cake EVER!!! I ordered a lemon cake baked with fresh blueberries topped with a lemon curd. Highly recommend. The owner was such a delight to work with. She was so kind and friendly.
