Velvet Dip - Brandon

The Velvet Dip's salty dog (soft ice cream dipped in salted chocolate) is delicious! The service is quick too!

Fantastic food, simnple setting, takes cash only, but the food here is always delicious and I have never met anyone who complained about it, everybody I jhave talked to about it loves the place.

We may be spolied by ice cream from Shaw's in St Thomas, Ontario, and Andy's in Winter Haven, Florida, but this just didn't measure up. But there is no such thing as bad ice cream.

We stop at Velvet Dip every chance we get, usually once a year when visiting from Ontario. They have a large selection of ice cream, soft, hard and specialty items. The quality is consistently top notch and often a customer line-up. We always have the chocolate soft serve dipped in coconut sauce. We can't find it in Ottawa and so far it's a one of a kind. If you like ice cream, stop here to enjoy!

Always a line up at this Brandon classic.Not a lot of seating, and a small parking lot, but more space for cars right next door at SuperStore.They take debit, and good ol' cash.Their banana split is huge and excellent. Shakes, sundaes, and my personal favourite the softserve vanilla swirls in chocolate or strawberry.
