Cafe 042 - Brandon

Our first time. It's a dinner in downtown. You don't want to. Not open for other meals. Friday is fried steak or catfish special (plus normal fare), we have the fish with frits. The catfish was perfectly cooked if you can do catfish really well, I'm good. Fries were country fried (soft) but tasteful (I would recommend two stages cooking itself) and the Hush puppies do not have onions/cuts (wet onion or whole grain to keep moist in my opinion) but it was good, we will be back. Oh, look at the bad sidewalk/the street, the city didn't do homework this week.

I love it. You have good food. Every day of the week different. I had a lot to eat. It was clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it. I wish they were open at night.

Bowtie Chicken Pasta is UNBELIEVABLE! In my opinion, the prices are great for what you get. These ppl put time and effort into what they do. It is not a few skillful/frozen precooked special, that is as real and as fresh as it gets. So compared to anywhere different for hot, fresh and much she got it for a good price if u want McDonald's prices go to McDonald's bc that is worth it!!!

Very good food, but on the pricey side. Different specials every day (check on Facebook). Limited regular menu. Specializes in take out.

Cafe 042 has helped inspire me to go ahead with gender reassignment surgery to become the man I always wanted to be. Plus, the food is really good too.
