Bidrage med feedbackInterestingly, the standout dish for me was their onion rings – some of the juiciest, tastiest, and most generous onion rings I have ever had. Overall, a great dining experience at Famished Wolf.
The Famished Wolf Burgers treated us to some delicious burgers and sides yesterday, and I can honestly say that they were some of the best burgers I've ever had! The "You So Nasty" burger with beef, chicken schnitzel, cheese, bacon, potato cake, onion rings, sriracha mayo, cheese sauce, and Frank's hot sauce was particularly outstanding. The "Duke" burger with beef, cheese, pineapple, bacon, lettuce, tomato, wolf sauce, and beetroot was also delicious. The "Summer Cluckn" burger with grilled cajun marinated chicken, cheese, bacon, pineapple, guacamole, garlic mayo, lettuce, tomato, and red onion was another standout choice. We also ordered the My Precious onion rings with guacamole, cheese sauce, crispy bacon, diced tomato, and spring onions, which were a hit. My favorite was the "You So Nasty" burger - the juicy beef patty, combination of sauces, and potato cake were so tasty that I can't stop talking about it! I also loved the onion rings, as I'm a big fan of them.
I enjoy the food at this restaurant. It is freshly cooked and tastes delicious. The atmosphere is usually clean and the music is enjoyable, making it a nice spot to dine in. I also opt for takeout sometimes. The music selection is great, the staff is friendly, and there are plenty of options on the menu. They also offer a variety of beers. I would suggest this place for burgers. It may not be ideal for a fancy date night, but it could still work.
Visited here for the first time last night with friends and our kids and loved how chill it was. Was a bit surprised by the cafe/take-away vibe but that totally works with toddlers. I ordered the Merv with pickles and wolf sauce instead of BBQ sauce and it was filling, tasty, and excellent textures. Friends all enjoyed their burgers. Chef very accommodating to additions and adaptations for all the burgers. Onion rings were perfectly battered and fried. Chips were crispy and potato-ey. Wolf wings were sweet and sour and perfectly cooked. We all agreed we would come back, and with such good prices it's hard to beat!
Hidden in the industrial back streets of Braeside, the burgers here are well worth a visit. Burgers have a great flavour, are big and juicy, and cooked well. Buffalo wings are a must as well, although they are not as spicy as I would like them. The owner is up for a chat, and has a nice selection of craft beers to compliment the food. I have been back a few times, and if they keep up the quality, I'll keep going back.
