Lemon Tree - Bradford

A couple of weeks ago, my friends and I visited this restaurant and we were absolutely blown away by how delicious the food was! I tried the special chow mein with curry sauce and it was amazing. I highly recommend checking this place out!

When eating the chicken chow mein I found 3 hairs and an eyelash in my food. Therefore, I do not think it should be a 4 star rated takeaway as far as I’m concerned because the food hygiene standards are definitely not as expected.

Yesterday, I ordered five meals and waited in the small shop while they were being prepared. It took about twenty minutes. I ordered beef curry, sweet and sour chicken, king prawn foo young, lemon chicken, noodles with bean sprouts. The meals also came with a free portion of prawn crackers for a total of £33.00. It had been a long time since I had food from this place back when it was called The Lemon Tree, and I was disappointed with my previous experience, so I never went back. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the Chinese food was yesterday. I decided to order a variety of dishes to test the quality for potential family visitors who often come to visit me in Ilkley. Every dish that I ordered was excellent during this visit. Therefore, I am happy to report that if I ever get tired of cooking, I can confidently order a takeaway for my family knowing that it will be of good quality, delicious, and prepared by a skilled Chinese chef.

Terrible, this was the worst Chinese food I have ever ordered. I am really looking forward to Sunshine takeaway reopening again!
