Crabby Joe's Tap & Grill - Bradford

As you walk in you see the huge bar, with some great drinks and beverages. As you get closer to the weekend it does tend to get busy. UFC Events forget about it, your waiting.I have been here several times and it's what you expect a franchise bar, food is of consistent qualify which is good but not earth shattering exceptional.Burgers are good ample portions, chicken sandwiches are good, chicken wings are spicy if you like that. Good sized drinks, staff makes sure your looked after... It's very big, very neutral in decor, probably the best of the franchise bars in Bradford. Once again you will not disappointed as a bar goes.

I have been to this restaurant many times. The service for me has always been very good. Cheerful and prompt. The food is average pub fare. The preparation of the food is somewhat uneven - which is to be expected from mid grade chain restaurants. The fries are frozen. Burgers are hit or miss. Typically we have had best results ordering salads and sandwiches. The lettuce and veg is usually very fresh. We go here because it is a short walk from our home. I can't heartily recommend this restaurant - but as the title to this write up says, its a decent place for a drink and a quick bite.

I was here before. sometimes the food is good sometimes bad. It is hit and miss. Last time I came I ordered the lemon pepper wings and they served them to me burnt. Everyone at my table couldn't believe they even served them to me. I had to ask for a chicken sandwich instead which they switched out no problem. They looked at me like I was nuts for saying they were burnt. Weird because the whole plate of them were black!! Anyhow if you want a drink it's ok but don't order the Lemon pepper wings. Probably will not go back.

Went in with about 7 others for a late lunch over the weekend. Server was friendly and nice but the food was sub par. The chicken Thai tacos looked good but I had the calamari and it was nothing to write home about. Menu said "lightly breaded". I had more breading than actual calamari and not very tasty. Would not order that again. I will say my Caesar was very good ;) Not much to choose from in that area so Id probably go back but.. not for the calamari.

Saturday afternoon for lunch with the restaurant 1/3 full at best and the service was incredibly slow. Food was okay, but after waiting half an hour for water, then an additional 15 minutes for drink order, then another half hour for food, at that point the food could have been incredible (which it wasn't anything notable) but the visit was already tainted. Definitely would not recommend for a quick lunch.
