Floridays Woodfire Grill - Bradenton

I made reservations for my daughter's birthday and a Thanksgiving dinner. when booking, there was no indication that the menu would be severely restricted. in addition, I had asked a few questions that no one answered more than a week before. When we arrived, we gave a menu that had only three entrées on it. we hoped for steak and seafood, as my daughter is allergic to seafood and she was looking forward to a steak. it was her birthday. Instead, she had the choice of a full snapper with head and ****, potted or a turkey dinner. the prizes were ridiculous for what they got and that was just okay. I'll say the chicken rolls were good. we sat outside and had a nice look. our server was very nice and friendly, but was not excessively attentive. it was a pretty empty restaurant, so it was a little surprising. She still did the best. overall the experience was quite disappointing for such a special day. we had a Thanksgiving menu in other restaurants and they made it so wonderful that we thought it was similar. Perhaps this restaurant is good on a regular day, but I would not recommend to come here for a special occasion. I also made the reservations for my family from the city, and I had to apologize again and again. the kalamari was extremely chewing and similar to huge rubber bands. the grouping stitches were very bland. these were the appetizers we tried to make the meal, as the main entrées were so expensive and ridiculous. the pot roast alone was $25. the biggest disappointments were the lack of communication, the unpleasant surprise with the menu, and eating is simply ok with stupid trips. I don't know how we would ever go back to this restaurant.

That's a great job. second visit and both were great, so will share a review. the heavy fish ordered both paintings and was very happy. other ordered fish tacos also beautifully served. every time our server was polite and attentive. met cris the new gm that made it a point to stop at tables and discuss the culinary experience, and look for feedback. we look forward to our next visit and sunset
