Bidrage med feedbackAfter a four year hiatus, my recent visit to Brew Gentleman felt like a special occasion, and boy, did it deliver. Stepping back into the cozy confines of this brewery, I was greeted with an array of tantalizing options, but two particular brews stood out among the rest. First up was the Trees, a spruce IPA with a hazy twist. This unique concoction offered a delightful interplay of flavors, with a distinct taste of spruce that added a refreshing and surprisingly yummy dimension to the brew. It was a perfect blend of familiar IPA bitterness and the earthy essence of nature, making each sip an adventure for the taste buds. Following the Trees was the Double Brock Barrel Aged, a heavyweight contender boasting a formidable 9.5% ABV. From the first sip, it was evident that this brew was something special. Rich, complex, and utterly delicious, it tantalized the palate with layers of flavor, showcasing the craftsmanship and expertise of the brewers. With its smooth texture and bold character, it was the kind of beer that demanded to be savored slowly, each sip revealing new depths of flavor. What truly elevated the experience was the ambiance of the brewery itself. Visiting on a quiet night, we were treated to attentive and friendly customer service, adding to the overall warmth and charm of the place. It was a reminder of why Brew Gentleman holds a special place in the hearts of its patrons not just for its exceptional brews, but also for the inviting atmosphere and top notch hospitality. As I reluctantly bid farewell to Brew Gentleman, I couldn't help but vow to return sooner rather than later. With its convenient location just 30 minutes away, it's a gem that's well worth revisiting more often. Whether you're a seasoned beer enthusiast or just looking for a memorable night out, Brew Gentleman promises an experience that's truly worth savoring.
About 5 years passed between my first and most recent visit here, and I was happy with the selection and variety this time. Their flagship, General Braddock's is a classic American IPA that's crisp and hoppy. White Sky is a tasty wheat with chai-creative for sure! Mexican Coffee Stout is good, but my favorite was The Trees, brewed with spruce tips. Staff was friendly and informative about the brewery's history and vision. If you're visiting PGH, stop by.
Food truck service in the event space (outback in a separate fenced area) Many bathrooms so you're not hanging out waiting Many varieties from IPA, wheats to stouts (even barrel aged) The staff is friendly, pricing is amazing and hopefully they offer military, police and fire support Nestled on a quiet street that has free parking areas. Small businesses and just a small town vibe. This is one of the best micro brews that I've experienced get on the east coast region. Many varieties, Fowlers and Growlers both a available and a space to lunge, talk, hangout, go outside, literally so many spaces for any type of person.
Great beers! I'm a big IPA fan, so this was the place for me. Very cozy and local vibe, everyone feels welcome.
One of my favorite local breweries in Pittsburgh. BG has an immaculate upscale location and always has an excellent selection of beers available for onsite consumption and to-go. If you are in Pittsburgh and can only visit a few of the many breweries in the city, make sure this spot is at the top of your list.
