La Fontanella - BRACCIANO

I would not recommend this restaurant. It’s supposedly a pizzeria but the pizza was awful uncooked and not tasty. Also the supplì (according to the menu isn’t a frozen item) tastes frozen and overcooked. The service was very slow and the employees didn’t seem to be bothered by the fact that we ate 1/4 of our pizzas (due to it being inedible). Definitely won’t be returning here.

We went on a Sunday afternoon in late January so sitting inside in the basement was fine. The furnishings are simple, a little dated and the tv provides some background entertainment, which is all part of the experience. All of the patrons were Italian and the waitress was prompt and friendly. We could not believe how cheap it was given the size and quality of the dishes, and we've lived in Italy for more than 4 years. Bread, water, 1/4L wine, pasta, polenta, panna cotta, coffee all for 24 euros.

This restaurant is away from the main squares and seemed to have a few locals there when we arrived at our table in the outdoors section. Unfortunately the food was really below the standard we have come to expect. The carbonara was carbonara in name only. Others in our party enjoyed meals of meat and fish so all is not lost. Give it a go carefully

Excellent restaurant for all of the family, everyone enjoyed their dinner and there is something on the menù for everyone. Special mention for the Filetto al pepe verde which is really good value.

Excellent restaurant near the castle of Bracciano, offers one of the most various menus liable to satisfy every taste; warm and pleasant atmosphere, very good pastas and sauces from the region and other delicious creations; this house is to recommand.
