4 Castagni - BRACCIANO

Here i ate the best pasta ever. I don't know exactly the name because i don't speak italian so it's difficult to remember. The pasta was with a delicious kind of fish, i think it was monkfish or something. Anyway...i recommend you do go there anytime. The atmosphere was great, very relaxing after a long day. When i'll visit Italy again, here will be my first stop!!

We were pretty jet lagged but not yet ready to crash so went sightseeing in the town of Bracciano. Right next to the castle we found what was just a little hole in the wall type place, clean and a little utilitarian. The three of us split a pici with truffle and mushroom that we kept talking about for the rest of the trip! The pici was so perfectly al dente I suspect I may never again encounter its like. And the mix of truffle and mushroom was likewise perfect. We had a second pasta that was also quite good, but if you go, the pici is the thing to have

My family went here for lunch on mothers day. We sat outside and enjoyed the bird song and trees as we ate. Great environment for kids- ours played at the outside kiddy area near our table. I believe they share a parking lot w/ a home daycare. Service was in friendly Italian and quick! A very sweet way to spend some nice family time:

The management has recently changed, the restaurant is located in a very pleasant and reserved place, the food is really excellent, I took a mixed appetizer of cheese and salami, all excellent, especially the wine jelly, with which the cheese taste, I could appreciate various types of first courses, some traditionally like the classic carbonara, others more dared like ravioli filled with valleyggio and bacon, they were simply in any The environment is rustic, very clean and well maintained, the service is informative, fast and very pleasant, I think the large outdoor courtyard also allows to eat outside.
