Kfc - Bowmanville

The location is no longer open! It was all boarded up. We had to drive back to Oshawa.

I am puzzled as to why my photos did not serve as sufficient evidence that this establishment has permanently closed for good. What is going on!? ?

We were disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed. We decided to visit the Bowmanville location (even though we live near Oshawa) because it was the only store in the area that sold full-sized chicken pieces. The other stores in Oshawa cut the chickens into more than the standard 9 pieces, resulting in smaller pieces that are even smaller than McDonald's nuggets.

This place is disgusting! Upon walking up, pieces of the roof were all over the ground, we entered the store and they had chicken buckets catching water dripping from the ceiling. As we were standing in line there was no heat in the building, wallpaper hanging off the wall and more pieces of the ceiling missing. We placed our order, it came out they forgot my fries and my chicken had no meat on the bone! My husband’s poutine was ice cold. We took everything back to the counter and got our money back! Will not ever return to this location!

Loving the famous bacon chicken sandwich. Has been fresh everytime . Only one time they put regular mayonnaise on it but still taisted good because they put pickles on it . Not sure if the pickles were a mistake but was a pleasant surprise. The fries are sometimes on the warm side but I have a bit of distance to travel before I get home to eat it . They still taist great .
