Hickory Oak - Bowling Green

Food drinks are always nice. I would like to see something a little different with the sides, but they are called sides for a reason. I would suggest trying the specials, including cocktails and deserts. If not, the regular menu is full of great choices. The drink menu is also top notch if you enjoy bourbon, but again, it's also full of other great options. Order something different every time you visit, you will not be disappointed! This is definitely a spot to enjoy with friends and/or friends. The way great meals should be enjoyed.

From start to finish, our experience at Hickory Oak was excellent! The next time we are in town, we will definitely visit the restaurant.Cody, our waiter was top-notch, and attentive, all of his recommendations were spot on, great personality. Started with the old fashions for a cocktail, which was a great cocktail.For an appetizer we had Carpaccio. Our meal consisted of the boneless ribeye which was fantastic and cooked perfectly. We ordered two sides, the coffee-rubbed carrots, and the truffle rosemary fries, and all were cooked to perfection. Cody also recommended a wine, which went very well with our meal. We finished up with the cornbread pineapple cake.

Can't say enough about the restaurant..outstanding service ,food and cocktails!.. Beautiful place downtown and walking distance to the downtown area..you don't want to miss the experience here .

Cody, our waiter was top-notch, attentive, on point, had great recommendations, great personality. The bone marrow bay scallops came out flat in flavor, but cody suggested we add some JQ Dickinson smoked salt, it punched that dish right up to were it needed to be! I could write a page on JQ Dickinson Salts. The 90-day dry aged rib eye cooked to perfection. The coffee rub carrots with goat cheese and honey chili were the show stopper, main event, big time player! Beer and drink menu great. (Country boy Imperial stout)The desert was so good we forced it down, we didnt want it but cody convinced us when he said they are the best blueberrieshe has ever had! Definitely will be returning.
