Funky Bean Italian Restaurant Coffee Bar

Great little place for breakfast and lunch! Food was fresh and good and the staff was very friendly and efficient. I'll definitely come here again!

We came here for brunch, as it is one of my daughter 's favorite places for dinner. I have to say, it wasn 't great. I don 't recommend this place if it is raining or cold outside, as most of the seating is outdoors. As far as the brunch menu goes, my daughter 's chipotle bowl looked like dog food. More like a stew than anything else. She was quite disappointed. Our guest 's steak bowl was TINY! My sandwich with sausage and egg was good, but potatoes were cold. It had obviously been sitting a while before they brought it out. Service was meh. Table was dirty, we had to ask for it to be cleaned, and then the waitress wiped down half of it. We had to ask her to wipe down the whole table. She wasn 't great at getting back to us, so we had to grab her or wave her down a few times. When we went inside to use the restroom, it was filled with smoke and a burnt smell. Clearly someone had burned a dish or two, and since the inside space is so small, it wasn 't clearing up. I really don 't recommend this place for brunch. My daughter swears by it for dinner, and the concept is cool. Outdoor tables, outdoor bar in a trailer, fire pits look welcoming and fun, but I think this will only work in good weather.

Really cool spot for Italian food, the atmosphere is very different (in a good way), the staff are wonderful and the food tastes authentic. Would be 5 star but cost value could be better, the entree portions were small for the price. We literally ordered another appetizer after finishing dinner to get full.

We showed up before they were open accidentally and the owner was so nice and rushed to open specifically for us. The coffee and breakfasts was delicious. Great atmosphere and the service was great and kind. Such a cool place!

I love this place! Most of the seating is outdoor so expect that when you visit. I found the rooftop seating outside with the lights very nice in the evening. But the food is just really amazing. I also found pricing to be comparable to what I might have spent at a chain restaurant that doesn’t even have a fraction of the quality. I definitely plan to return. Service was excellent. Our food didn’t take a long time to reach our table. This is probably now my favorite restaurant in Bowling Green.
