Bidrage med feedbackSteak is most commonly grilled, but it can also be cooked in a pan. The grilling method is often used to achieve a flavor reminiscent of steak cooked over an open fire with glowing coals. Steak can also be prepared in sauces, like in steak and kidney pie, or ground and formed into patties, such as hamburgers. Steaks are usually cut from grazing animals, predominantly cattle, but they can also come from bison, camel, goat, horse, kangaroo, sheep, ostrich, pigs, reindeer, turkey, deer, and zebu. Various types of fish, particularly salmon and larger pelagic varieties like swordfish, shark, and marlin, can be classified as steaks as well. For some meats, like pork, lamb, mutton, chevon, and veal, the cuts are often referred to as chops. Certain cured meats, such as gammon, are also commonly served as steak. There are vegetarian alternatives too; grilled portobello mushrooms, for example, may be referred to as mushroom steak, and other vegetarian dishes can follow suit. Additionally, imitation steak is a food product created by shaping various pieces of meat into a steak form. Even grilled fruits like watermelon have been utilized as vegetarian steak substitutes.
Royal Queensland Steakhouse offers exceptional steaks, many of which are typically exported, making it difficult to find locally sourced beef in nearby butcheries. The pricing is competitive with other fine dining establishments. The restaurant tends to fill up quickly, so it is advisable to book a table online. Additionally, the Fashion Stage next door makes the Steakhouse a convenient choice for husbands while their partners shop.
I had the best steak I've ever tasted at this restaurant. I ordered the Rump, and it was huge! I also got a variety of sides to accompany it, and every single bite was absolutely delicious.
The staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere is lovely.
