Montrachet - Bowen Hills

From the warm greeting at the door to the final farewell, the experience here exceeded expectations! With all the ambience of a suburban French restaurant, this little gem serves up wonderfully hospitable service, superb cuisine wine to die for. (The Montrachet chardonnay is on the must-have list. Thank you for a most memorable evening.

I now understand the hype! Probably the best food we've had in Brisbane. Very affordable, quality, French wine by the glass and down to earth service. You won't find much better in Brissie.

Loved this place under the original owner was pleasantly surprised that it was just as good now that he’s moved on. Definitely recommend for a special night out.

We hadn't been back to Montrachet since it changed hands. Why did we leave it so long?! We had the most perfect meal the best spanner crab spaghetti ever; both main courses were utterly delicious (steak frites and roast duck); yummy, light dessert; and lovely quality French wines. Shannon and Clare were delightful, too ready to chat and tell us a bit of background information and history...And all the staff were, as always, ultra professional. All up, a perfect evening at one of Brisbane's very best. Already planning our return!

Stepping inside the doors of Montrachet, began the most complete and incredible luncheon experienced. The friendly and prompt service, the magnificent decor, the delectable menu choices, and the most sumptuous food and wine I have ever experienced any place. Highly recommend a visit to enjoy their most delicious French cuisine and friendliness ... thankyou
